Mixed Media at the Rotunda

Although Béatrice Frézal-Ayrolles trained in France as an interior architect and designer, she has been inspired to expand her creative repertoire since moving to Tailand. Now working in mixed media, principally acrylic strongly texturewith the application of wax, gold leaf and other materials, she produces boldly coloured figurative paintings drawing heavily on Buddhist iconography and Thai architectural motifs. 'Vision rapprochée', the first solo exhibition in Thailand of her large-scale canvases, diptyches and triptychs, will be staged at the Rotunda Gallery.
